Seakeeper stabilisation for effortless comfort
Central to the refit is the installation of a Seakeeper 2 gyro stabiliser. Gyro stabilisation technology has become one of the most transformative innovations in modern boating. By dramatically reducing roll both underway and at anchor, it significantly enhances comfort for everyone on board.
The Seakeeper 2 operates by spinning a heavy flywheel at extremely high speeds within a sealed enclosure. As the yacht begins to roll, the gyroscopic forces generated by the system counteract the motion, stabilising the vessel and producing a remarkably smooth ride.

This was paired with a bold Jotun Indus Red bootstripe, adding a subtle yet distinctive contrast.
The cockpit and superstructure were resprayed in Jotun Norma Cream, restoring the yacht’s classic appearance and giving the entire vessel a fresh and immaculate representation. A paint finish of this quality not only enhances aesthetics but also protects the structure of the yacht for years to come.
Finishing touches and craftsmanship
The final stages of the refit focused on the finer details that define a truly premium yacht. All exterior brightwork was meticulously restored back to bare wood and coated with ten coats of Awlgrip Allwood varnish, bringing the yacht’s teak detailing back to a deep and lustrous gloss.
